Successful Launch of Horizons-2 Communications Satellite
(December 22, 2007) - JSAT Corporation ("JSAT"; Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO:Kiyoshi Isozaki) is pleased to announce that today it has successfully launched the Horizons-2 communications satellite, which is jointly owned with Bermuda-based Intelsat Ltd., the world�s leading satellite communications operator.

Horizons-2 lifted off at 4:41 p.m. (EST) from the Guiana Space Center in French Guiana by an Ariane5 launch vehicle. Horizons-2 was separated from its launch vehicle at 5:14 p.m.

Horizon-2 is scheduled to start its services in February 2008 after completion of payload in-orbit testing.
